I wear many hats - artist, educator, wife, mother, sister, neighbor, friend, and I have always thrown myself 100% into all that I do. So welcome, grab a chair and your favorite beverage. And now, I'm writing more, because you asked for it! Ha! I'm based on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawai‘i. In school, I studied traditional and digital arts alike, with concentrations in graphic design, photography, and printmaking.  Additionally, I am atelier trained in observational drawing and painting and am in my eight year  teaching traditional and digital arts and curating exhibitions. I have taught for The Contemporary Museum (now The Honolulu Musuem of Art - Spalding House), The Honolulu Printmakers, Sacred Hearts Academy, Kapi‘olani Community College, and Leeward Community College.  I have also worked as a studio assistant at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina.

 

For years, I served on the Board of Directors for the Honolulu Printmakers and Gallery ‘Iolani (at Windward Community College).

 

As for my own art, well, I've been making that since I was just a wee lass crawling around my parents' floor in Montana!
