Fine Art
Generally, I strive to attain beautifully crafted works that bring out the humor found in everyday life. Although my work is sometimes based in cynicism, I hope that it provides a lighter perspective to even some of the heaviest topics and allows us all to take ourselves a little less seriously.
This portfolio showed both in Kansas City, MO and Honolulu, HI. The work, about land use and misuse in Hawai‘i, used imagery from the Atlas of Hawai‘i out of context to simulate transmission of information as the viewer neared the islands.

Lineage showcased work by a family tree of printmakers that have been integral in passing the tradition of printmaking on through the generations in Hawai‘i.

Curatorial Works.
I have now curated three print exhibitions of varying scales. As a curator, I enjoy transforming overlooked concepts to physical reality by working as part of a larger community with artists, venues, and funding organizations. My hope is that these shows have caused viewers to pause and reflect on normative values and ideas and consider new perspectives.
